Trinity is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (www.elca.org)
and the East Central Synod of Wisconsin (www.ecsw.org).
Trinity Lutheran is an active community church. Because of our downtown location we are able to serve many individuals and groups in Waupaca. We open the use of our building each week to the Waupaca County Senior Nutrition Program. The “Meals on Wheels” program is also run through our facility. Numerous Boy Scout, Cub Scout, and Girl Scout groups meet in our building regularly. A program for autistic children is held each summer in our facility. Trinity’s Tiny Treasures Preschool is held in the lower west wing from September to May.
Trinity members are passionate about addressing hunger, locally and globally. Bins for the Waupaca Area Food Pantry are available for donations in our main hallway year-round. Our members support the ELCA World Hunger Program and the local Bread Basket meal program. Youth at Trinity hold a 30-Hour Famine event each year to support local and global hunger along with collecting soup to donate during the “Souper Bowl of Caring” each February.
Trinity is committed to missions. Through the ELCA, Trinity members give to numerous Disaster Relief funds. Many mission trips are coordinated each year for youth and adults to serve God’s people.
